For me, it would be VERY important to know that. As you people know (I think) IBM is taking place in important job positions in SSA. Does this mean that AS/400 products will have priority, leaving the UNIX world behind? I think IBM would give priority to AS over Unix. Other issue is - what can we expect about Mixed Mode in 7.0? If, as it seems, DFS programs are changing to OPS, we could expect that even CEA and OLM would give up to character-based programs - COM already did, hehehe... >From uucp@uucp1.mcs.net Thu Apr 9 09:03:34 1998 >Received: from uucphost.mcs.net (uucp@Uucp1.mcs.net [192.160.127.93]) by Kitten.mcs.com (8.8.7/8.8.2) with ESMTP id LAA06740; Thu, 9 Apr 1998 11:01:06 -0500 (CDT) >Received: (from uucp@localhost) > by uucphost.mcs.net (8.8.8/8.8.8) id LAA04876; > Thu, 9 Apr 1998 11:01:05 -0500 (CDT) >Received: (from majordom@localhost) > by midrange.com (8.8.8/8.8.8) id KAA01955 > for bpcs-l-outgoing; Thu, 9 Apr 1998 10:22:44 -0500 >From: Xujin <Xujin@aol.com> >Message-ID: <58400243.352cda35@aol.com> >Date: Thu, 9 Apr 1998 10:24:51 EDT >To: BPCS-L@midrange.com >Mime-Version: 1.0 >Subject: Re: IS THIS TRUE?????? >Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII >Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit >X-Mailer: AOL 3.0 for Windows 95 sub 18 >Sender: owner-bpcs-l@midrange.com >Precedence: bulk >Reply-To: BPCS-L@midrange.com >X-List-Name: BPCS Users Mailing List (BPCS-L@midrange.com) > >Does anyone know any strategic change in R&D area after Covey left?
