ECM Control Manager & Despatch Manager

We are in the latter stages of prototyping BPCS v6.0.04 (moving from a
totally home-grown bespoke package).

I've been informed that I can start the ECM control & despatch managers as
follows

    CALL PGM(ECM905C) PARM(&jobq &errflg &edmflg &eccflg)

with &edmflg and &eccflg both set to '1' to start both managers.  I don't
have any problems with that, however..... I'd like to know :-

1. A fool proof way to determine when the jobs have completed.

2. How to stop these jobs correctly.  I did try replacing the &edmflg and
&eccflg with the value '2' (as is used in the ECM 'Control Centre'), but
that did not work.

Any ideas....
