Thanks for the Reply Laurent. I've never looked at the CIC file! Can you explain how the CIC file and CMF file relate or work together in my environment? (Costing my facility) I've written several queries that pull cost info out of CMF. Am I better off using the CIC file? If I want the standard to appear on the INV100 screen, what do you think of me using the CST940 (Inter Facility Cost Transfer) to copy the facility data that I want to show on the IIM into the "blank" or global facility? Thank you, Paul LaFlamme lpenou wrote: > Hello Paul > > If you use costing by facility the std cost is held n the CIC file not IIM > the std cost you cant see in IIM is the one linked with the Global facility > and this cost do not mean anything if you use costing by facility. > > just check that CIC cost (the one you can see in INV300 selecting the > facility) > to the CMF bucket 0 (you might check also that sum of bucket = bucket 0) > > Hope this can Help, > > Laurent PENOU > Atlante-Consulting > > -----Original Message----- > From: Paul <kdcma@ix.netcom.com> > To: BPCS <BPCS-L@midrange.com> > Date: Thursday, January 21, 1999 7:08 PM > Subject: Updating IIM with Cost Summary Data > > >Dear BPCS List users: > > > >Anyone know when/what updates the IIM file with the item's standard cost > >and actual cost?
