API's to run DLTOLDSPLF is not available in the newer release of OS/400.

If you have TAATOOLS installed, one of the commands is DLTOLDSPLF - it
deletes spooled files older than xx days.  I wrote a quick CL and put
it on a job scheduler to run every day.  The CL is:

 PGM
 ADDLIBLE   LIB(TAATOOL)
 MONMSG     MSGID(CPF0000)

 DLTOLDSPLF OUTQ(*LIBL/*ALL) RETAINDAYS(10) LIST((MTHEND +
              QGPL))
 MONMSG     MSGID(CPF0000)

 RMVLIBLE   LIB(TAATOOL)
 MONMSG     MSGID(CPF0000)
 ENDPGM
