Wayne,

Our month end and year end process will take approximately 8 hours to
complete. Since December 31 is a holiday for us (non-IS anyway), we plan on
starting mid morning and then powering down the system prior to midnight.
The system will be brought back up early on the morning of the first. Our
AS/400 S/30 was installed in February of 1999 and prior to going live on it
we did a series of date testing including rolling from 12/28/99 - 01/03/00.
I have high confidence in the system functioning but for safety sake we do
not want to be mid process and have potential power issues.

I can be reached at (707) 224-3200 ext 2880 if you have any other questions
or comments. It looks like we are neighbors in the SF Bay area.

Regards,

Jon Le Roi
Dey, L.P.
