Thanks,

I missed the "Balanced Book" flag.  This year was setup with that turned
off.  Through the normal GUI program, the flag does not appear to be
changable.  I used DBU to change the flag in the GTY file so we will see
how life goes from here.

Two quick things to check. Make sure the flag is checked on your book that
states "Balanced Book". Second make sure your event doesn't not allow
journal entries in error. This will force the user to correct all errors
before the system will accept the posting.
