Have you checked MRP300 to see if the reason is visible there (possibly
pegged to something you are not expecting)

Fellow BPCS Victims.
Could someone please help me out with the following problem:
For some purchase parts, which are planned through MRP, requirements are
planned which are not related to any order / forecast (planned) from MPS.
F.I we have an item which has a safety stock of 2000 pcs, but at the end of
this year, MRP has planned 300,000 parts!
In MRP140 all settings are OK.
Did anybody experience the same problem; what is the solution to this
problem.
