This is where an AS/400 interface tool is nice to have.  I say AS/400
because i`m not talking about an emulator, but a tool that modifies the
datastream.  The advantage is that it`s simple to implement, on the AS/400
and that`it.  A software we`ve made let`s you handle security field by
field, same has protect fields.  You modify the interface at the 400 level
for groups of user that you manage with the tool.  Look it out at
