Roy,
You should be able to restore the BPCS libraries after the install provided
your hardware did not change.
As for the PTF's, I do not know for sure although I would guess there
probably are.

Hello All!!
We are using BPCS 6.1.01 mixed mode on AS400 platform
OS/400 V4R3 M0.
Due to some problem in OS/400, we are unable to
upgrade OS400 from V4R3 to V4R5. IBM technical guy has
recomended to install OS/400 V4R5 from scratch on the
same machine.
Question 1
I have taken back up of all libraries of our BPCS
environment. My question is, after installing new
OS400 v4r5, can i simply restore my bpcs environment
on the same machine and start using BPCS with new
operating system ? Or I need to follow the BPCS
installation procedure using bpcs key ????
Question 2
Do i need some ptf for V4R5 for the BPCS running
successfull on that version.
appreciate your technical support!!!
regards
