If Wally is referring to Operation overlap then input a negative quantity in
the Move days which allows subsequent operations to run concurrent to the
current operation. No change to the code is required. Hope that answers your
question.

Wally The answer to your first question is that MRP will plan the
orders, but will not allow you to release them. Once the parent item is
released and MRP has run the demand for the phantom item will be
eleminated and parts that make up the phantom will be allocated. I do
not fully nderstand the second question. Judi Ridewell

Good Morning and Happy New Year!

I have two questions for the group:

1. - We have a part flagged as a phantom. When shop orders are released
for
it's parent, the phantom shows demand on the Planning/Pegging Inquiry.
Will
these phantoms generate planned orders for the phantom?

2. We have some products that require the concurrent use of two
workstations. Can we show this on the routers without modifying the
code?

We are on BPCS 405CD.

Thanks in advance,
