Thank you, Clare.

I don't upgraded the OS, I have V5R1.
Are there any procedure for to check if I have applied all the SQL PTF
or which SQL PTF's?.

I don't have test data, only production data.
I don't about the dynamic index creation.

Regards

Cesar

Hi Cesar,

Have you just upgraded OS/400 ? Have you applied all the SQL PTFs?
(Database
Group)

The 'access plan' is where the SQL optimizer keeps its plan, and it is
part of the program object. It needs to be updated if the data changes
more than a certain amount.

Are you accessing test and production data with the same programs? Have
you got dynamic index creation going on (if you haven't done a database
tuning exercise)? This could lock the access plan....

Clare
