My understanding is (at least in our archaic BPCS) you need to make a "wrapper"
program that begins with UR1. Then you register the wrapper program to BPCS
maintenance using the Security Object Maint menu option.
Hope this helps.
For instance . . . program UR1000C
/* Application : SALES */
/* Program Name: UR1000C - CALLS SPM SALES INQUIRY */
/*******************************************************************/
/* Start of Program: */
PGM
/* Main program logic: */
/* */
/* */
STSLSINQ SKIPSELECT(*NO)
/* End of Program: */
ENDPGM

All,
Thanks for the responses. This is valuable information.
What I was hoping was that I could call UR1 whatever I want. I have a program
called XFR500, used to transfer data to a database application, which I'd like
users
to be able to call from the attention window. I've set it up in security
objects as a
menu object. When someone with security type U attempts this, they get
"Invalid
BPCS product code XFR given." When someone with security type S attempts it,
they get into the program.
We are 405CD.
TIA,
--Chris
