We are running 6.0.04MM but, if I remember correctly, it should be the
same. You need to give the users program access to the "client" programs.
Here are the program objects we give our order entry people access to:
SCMOIN (Client Server Order Inquiry)
SCMORD (Client Server Order Entry)
SCMQIN (Client Server Quote Inquiry)
SCMQTE (Client Server Quote Entry)
SCMRIN (Client Server RMA Inquiry) *
SCMRMA (Client Server RMA Entry) *
* Although we don't use the RMA features of BPCS.

BPCS security issue.
Hi
We are using BPCS ver 6.0.02 mixed mode, CEF & order entry modules are in
client server mode (GUI), all other modules are in native IBM green
screen
mode(CA400).
We plan to invoke BPCS security feature by creating user with Security
Type
= 'U' Product All = 0 and granting or revoking access to each BPCS
product
by assigning 1 or 0 against it.
In green screen mode the user has access to only the authorised products ?
works fine.
In the client server mode the user can access CEF module but cannot
access
order entry option, the message displayed by session manager is 'You do
not have license to use this product'. If I change the option of Product
All = 1 the user is able to access order entry module but then he has
access to all the products in green screen.
Can anyone advise on how to overcome this issue.
