*       We have DC's which are supplied by plants.  The plants also ship
direct.
*       Horizon dates on all item masters are 0.  Horizon date in the system
parameters is 60 days.

 

Bases on observations of the planned orders created, when BPCS creates
planned re-supply orders it does not use horizon date.  When it creates
planned orders for MPS only items (not a DRP item) it does check the item
master (in our case they equal zero) then uses the parameter value of 60.
True or false?

 

The dates are calculated as we want them to be but the documentation in
DRP300 states otherwise and I got to wondering ...
