C will be tied to the line that has the highest line number that is less than the line number of line C and has LCPNT = "P". If line item A is line 1, then its components will be in lines 2 thru x, then Item B will be line x+1 and its components in line x+2 thru line y with the number of component lines dependant on the BOM size. So if C is in a line numbered over x+1 it belongs to B, if less than or equal to x, its part of A. This assumes that only A & B are being sold here, but can be extrapolated to work with any order. They both share a component "C". If both Items "A" and "B" are on the order, this will mean that "C" could be on the order twice. I want to be able to track the specific "C" item line back to "A" or "B" depending on which it belongs. I didn't know if BPCS stored a line value anywhere that says this line belongs to that line... type of thing. The parent line should have a "P" and the component lines will have a "Y". Regular line items have an "N". The components should be in sequence right after the Parent Record. Hope that helps Kevin Washburn
