Good day!

We are currently at BPCS 6.0.2. I hope someone can give me a suggestion. We have a product AA that uses component BBB. This BBB item is currently set at Item Type 7 in our BPCS. However, this same component is also purchased outside(so shld be treated as Item Type 2). How should this be setup in BPCS in such a way that we can separate manufactured and purchased components even if they are the same item? Our costing result is affected because amount of manufactured component has big variance with the purchased one.

Sample Scenario: Parent-AA
component-BBB (total inventory-100)
50- manufactured
50-purchased

Any suggestions? Thank you very much!
