The ITH sequence doesn't have to start with one (1). The most important
thing to check is that the last sequence number in ITH is the same as
the sequence number for the respective item in the item master file.

INV300 starts with that sequence number in the ITH and reads the file
backwards for the displaying of historical transactions regardless of
the date of the transaction.

The only reset program is in the suite of inventory period close
programs.

If within the system parameters the number of days to purge data is set
to all 9's the system will never purge data from the ITH file.

If you have any further questions or concerns or need further assistance
please contact me directly.

In our system we have many items that do not beging with 1 and we see no
problem in inv300 although we are running version 3.1.

Do you know the BPCS program to reset the sequence numbers, it may be
worth us running it.
