Unbeaten Path Software has two products that may help you in this task,
Item Undertaker and Locksmith. I've down loaded literature on these
products but have not used them. Might be worth a look if you don't want
to tackle this yourself.

Any warnings/caveats regarding use of strsql to delete very old part
numbers out of the database -e.g., IIM/CIC/HPO/MBM/ITH/ECH/ECL/FSO/FOD/FRT
