1.  System Parms SYS800
2.  Warehouse INV110
3.  Commodity code PUR180

Subject: Quantity Tolerance Received Percent


Don, wondering if you could check with your BPCS user group if we can
set separate percentages for tolerance quantity received perhaps by item
class or buyer? The problem with assigning one overall number is that we
have 14 different commodities and to assign one tolerance quantity would
be a bad business decision. An example of this would be we would not
want to assign the same tolerance percentage for motors vs. fasteners.
 
Could you see what options we have available in our current ERP BPCS
System (CD-405) ? I'm in SYS800-14 and have not found much on this
subject matter.
 
Please advise.
