If Infor has forgotten the company exists, not recently done an audit, you
naming the client, could lead to hassles for the client, that they might
blame you for, so tread lightly.
A major cost of conversion can be the people learning a new system, be it a
different BPCS, a different ERP, a different platform, converting their
custom reports to the replacement ERP. This is a major argument for
upgrading to a newer BPCS, rather than relearning everything.
Perhaps you should review add-ons available for their current version of
BPCS, and verify this is not sufficient to satisfy whatever is the problem
with what they have.
Perhaps you should partner with a vendor which is experienced in this area.
Perhaps you should attend a BPCS user conference.

Subject: [BPCS-L] List of clients with more than 500 users
Dear All,
I ma trying to pursue a client of mine to upgrade to ERP LX. they currently
use BPCS and thinking of a startegy to modernise there applicatio. Either
move to non I series ERP or upgarde to LX.
I have to give a presentation and showcase the number of companies using
BPCS/LX , the industry sector it covers etc etc.
Any links/pointers where I can get the data wil be really helpful.
The current company is not on OGS and maintain there BPCS system internally
so I am not sure if I can approach Infor for Information or not .
Thanks & Regards
Debasish
