nutech has this interface which will allow you to post data into data
entry screens. I realize there are programmers and non programmers on
this list and I am trying to compromise between the two, so forgive me if
I don't quite get there.
Basically one may be afraid of modifying BPCS programs to mimic data
entry. Either you may fear not getting it right or how modified code
hinders version upgrades. So what the nutech stuff does is use something
called "screen APIs" to take a batch program and mimic some data entry
person keying that data into the screen.
You could take that batch data and feed it into order entry this way.
We don't get a dime from nutech - just a happy customer. We had them
speak at our local user group
