Hi Avelino,

IF you happen to see 'TP' RRID in RAR file, this is also a result of an
interrupted transaction.

Before you have posted the payment, you may have closed the Cash and Memo
Posting screen or there was a sudden power outage.

Usually, this type of record can be removed by ACR990D.You may also check
that this 'TP' record has a corresponding 'RP' record in the RAR file. Use
the invoice number and sequence number as your referencefor checking.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
Regards,

Su

I know GroupDekko has made the switch and would think there are others
that have as well. Would any of you like to talk about the ease or
difficulty of the upgrade, but more importantly your opinions regarding
LX? Is it a lot better? Is it pretty much the same thing but with a
prettier face? Issues like this are what I'm interested in.

We're contemplating an upgrade to LX and would like to know what others
have experienced.

It's a temporary entry made during cash posting and goes to RP if cash
posting finishes correctly and accepts the batch.

Hi Bill,

I've received some good replies on this topic in the past (see the archive
link below, I believe they are in there...)

My company still hasn't made the jump yet (from 4.05CD to LX), but are
seriously considering it again...

Many of our employees, including myself, are attending the 'System i User
Conference 2011' (10/2/11 - 10/5/11) to get a closer look at ERP LX and
newer modules and commingle with some of the companies on LX or making the
jump...

http://go.infor.com/systemiuserconference/registration/?location=LHM(conference link...)

Maybe some of us BPCS-L members can meet up there... Let me know if
interested. Thx :)

Hi
When user is encoding payment in cash and memo posting, it is already
writing the transaction in RAR with the ID code TP (maybe temporary
payment). When finished with the payment, it will become RP

Good idea for a meet up. Several Group Dekko people will be there, but I
will not be. They would be better contacts for Infor stuff anyway.

I will be going to the fall COMMON conference instead (held at the same
time).

There will also be several of us from Formica. We're close to starting
the jump from 6.02 to Lx. I agree that we should find someplace for the
BPCS-L folks to join up!
