It's very, very terse, yes.

Same here. I strongly recommend to add options(*showusr) to the compiler arguments, so you can see the includes which have been generated by #pragma mapinc. Helps a lot!

For what I need I have discovered that I have to adjust the _RFILE.out_null_map subfield.

Adjust what precisely in which manner?
