I'm trying to fix an issue where a program abends because a record is locked. However, in our system, the program does not abend and the file that is supposedly locked has a shared lock. I need to be able to lock the record for a significant amount of time (about 60 seconds) in order to cause the abend. What are the different ways I can do this?
