Changing USRDTA on printfiles on the run...

Hello, everybody.

I have an old COBOL-pgm(OPM) that closes and opens a prinfile based on 
certain criterias with purpose grouping together information.

I try to give each spoolfile a unique name in USRDTA by calling a CL-pgm 
from my COBOL-pgm between each CLOSE and the next OPEN of the printfile.

The CL-pgm has one cmd:  OVRPRTF    FILE(*PRTF) USRDTA(&USRDTA), where 
&USRDTA contains the name wantet.

BUT:  Nothing happens to userdata in the spollfile?? What is it I'm doing 
wrong?
