Marge: First of all, make sure that _my_ problem wasn't the same as _your_ problem. Then, start with searches in the Midrange-L archive at ( http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l ) for 'QNTC'. Just about everything any of us knows is already in there. Followup questions should go to Midrange-L because many who have experience with QNTC and streamfiles in general have no need for COBOL.
