[COBOL400-L] IO Feedback Area

I'm trying to get the rrn of a keyed file --- and using the IO-Feedback
area --- problem is that it appears to be giving me the rrn of a block of
records instead of a different one for each record read.

My feedback area is defined as:
       01  WS-FEEDBACK-AREA.
            03  FEED-LENGTH  PIC 9(4) BINARY.
            03  FILLER       PIC X(172).
            03  RRN-IND      PIC 9(8) BINARY.
            03  FILLER       PIC X(20).

Any ideas????
