Another vote for continuation. If you look at the RPG forum there is a core of contributors and their dialogs seem to run on and on and on like the Ever Ready Bunny. -----Original Message----- From: cobol400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:cobol400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kelly Cookson Sent: Monday, July 11, 2005 10:43 AM To: COBOL Programming on the iSeries/AS400 Subject: RE: [COBOL400-L] Probable discontinuation of this forum Okay. I misunderstood. (Busy morning...) It's this list, COBOL 400-L, that I would like to see remain up and running. Thanks, Kelly -----Original Message----- From: cobol400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:cobol400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Greg Phillips Sent: Monday, July 11, 2005 9:33 AM To: COBOL Programming on the iSeries/AS400 Subject: RE: [COBOL400-L] Probable discontinuation of this forum Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the issue is the discontinuation of the iSeries Network COBOL Forum, not this COBOL mailing list. If that's correct, then the place to post any requests to keep that forum around is at www.iseriesnetwork.com COBOL forum, not here. Personally, I use this mailing list much more than the iSeries forum and would hate to lose *this* resource! - Greg Phillips -----Original Message----- From: cobol400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:cobol400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of poss@xxxxxxx Sent: Monday, July 11, 2005 6:52 AM To: COBOL Programming on the iSeries/AS400; John Arnold Cc: cobol400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [COBOL400-L] Probable discontinuation of this forum The COBOL programmers in general have very limited resources when they are looking for assistance or support. This is one of the few that seems to work!
