If they are designed as you say, then you can probably just leave the  
AGs active.  You might want to check the option to initialize  
variables on entry - can't recall the syntax - haven't coded much  
COBOL in the last five years or so.

You have to realize that OPM and ILE were never really intended to be  
mixed.  The fact that they can do so at all was more for IBM's
