The question "Where are all the RPG AS/400 jobs?" has almost become rhetorical. The Nashville, Tn area, once a "hotbed" for AS/400 consultants, has very little to offer." Here in Chicago the market has been slow over the last year. With the Y2K finished and a lot of the major dollars from the budget spend on the Y2K most company's are most likely waiting until the 1 qtr of next year. I think the market will pick up with the AS/400 playing a role a in the BtoB on the internet. We might have to start getting more experience with JAVA for the future.
