I'm an AS400/Iseries programmer (though no longer a contractor), but your email 
reminded me of a wonderful day I spent in Turnhout back in 1999.
 
I was working for a client in the Los Angeles area, but was sent to Venlo, the 
Netherlands, to install some Y2K fixes.
 
While in Venlo, I took a day to rent a car and head over to Turnhout!
 
You see, I collect unusual playing cards, and so had heard of Turnhout for 
years.  While there, I toured the Playing Card Museum, and attended an annual 
convention of card collectors which was being held that day, where I met many 
of the European collectors I had formed email friendships with over the years.
 
Turnhout was one of the highlights of the three weeks I spent in Europe on that 
contract, and your email reminded me of it.
