Hey!!

Specify nothing for the parameter. In other words, don't add the parameter
line. If no database is specified, compact will run across all databases.

I thought I sent this yesterday, but I did not receive it so sorry if it is
a repeat.

In the Redbook R5 Implementation it shows how to run compact for a single
database (see below), but is there a method of running it for multiple
databases with one command? I would like to run compact for each of my
users mailboxes and having to maintenance the CL program if I have to do a
single command for each mailbox would be a lot more work. I am hoping that
you could replace the NAMES.NSF with *.NSF

Here is the command that does the compact:

0001.00 PGM
0002.00
0003.00 ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(PATH) +
0004.00 VALUE('/QIBM/PRODDATA/LOTUS/NOTES:/QIBM/USERDATA+
0005.00 /LOTUS/NOTES:/LOTUS/DOMINO/HP400') +
0006.00 REPLACE(*YES)
0007.00
0008.00 CHGCURDIR DIR('/LOTUS/DOMINO/HP400')
0009.00
0010.00 SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(QNOTES/COMPACT) +
0011.00 PARM(NAMES.NSF)) USER(QNOTES) +
0012.00 CURLIB(*USRPRF) INLLIBL(*JOBD) +
0013.00 CPYENVVAR(*YES)
0014.00
0015.00 ENDPGM
