Hi John...

We use Norton AntiVirus 2.0 for Lotus Notes (AS/400) from Symantec. We use
NortonAV on our pc's college wide so when they came out with the /400
version it was a natural for us. We participated in the product beta, but
the version we use now is the shipping version (2.0). We are very happy
with NAV/400. It does a lot more than just scan email - although it does do
that very well. You can also set it up to scan any Notes database which is
important to us since we have web sites which allow users to attach
documents to notes database entries, etc. And yes, some of our colleagues
live dangerously! ;)

They'll let you download a trial version at:

I understand there are additional choices available now, but I'm not aware
who makes them.

Ray

Subject: Anti-virus solution

We are currently in the process of migrating from MS Exchange to Lotus
Notes R5 for OS/400. We currently are using Computer Associate's Innoculan
AV Agent for Exchange and it is working extremely well. The problem is
that the AV Agent for Lotus Notes will NOT scan mail files on any other
platform other than NT.

What is everyone using for an anti-virus solution for Domino 400??

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!! :-)
