Mike,

In V4R4 the performance adjustment is aranged better then in earlier version
from OS/400.
Make sure that the system value QPFRADJ is set tot option "2". With this
adjustment you make the AS/400 say OS/400 the manager of your performance
adjustment.

If the mail server is running in a other subsystem the you will be better of by
putting the subsystem in the *BASE pool of your AS/400. You can change the
subsystem with the command WRKSBSD <subsystemname>

When you changed the subsystem you need to stop Domino server and subsystem end
start the Dominoserver again.

A tempory adjustment could be made by putting a greater value of max. active in
the WRKSYSSTS command.

Hope this willl help.

Subject: Router Job in Domino subsystem

Is the Router job in the Domino (R5.0.3) subsystem referring to mail
routing, or is this something different?
If we move mail routing off a box, will we see this job disappear? The
reason I ask is that we're using a 170 (V4R4M0) to handle both web serving
and mail routing, and the Router task generally has 22% of the CPU at all
times, and often has around 40% since we upgraded to R5. We'd like to
shift mail routing to another box, as this is killing our ability to serve
our website.

Thanks in advance,
Mike Eovino
