Thanks Mike.  I think that I mainly wanted to know that "plain-old HTML
pages" could still be created and served by a browser from our AS400, even
though I had to shut down the HTTP server on the AS400 because Domino web
serving wouldn't work while it was running.
If I understand you, I can do this.
