I do not know of any. I tried to think of a method of exploiting the
system value QPWDVLDPGM to do this. I am not familiar enough with the
Domino API's to know if there is an api you can call to change a password
in an ID file. Keep in mind, that the ID file may be stored in the NAB,
the client PC, or even kept on a diskette for those roaming users. Gee, I
change my password while logged onto the system console; how does it know
to change the password in my ID file which is kept on a diskette in my
shirt pocket?

Hi,

We are using Domino 4.6 on our 400 running V4R3.

We are also using an IPCS.

The IPCS is used to sync our 400 passwords with our Windows passwords so we
only have one sign on. It works well except that whenever you change your
password on the 400 you need to reboot the PC, because when you logged onto
windows, you were using the old password.

Is there a way to sync our Notes passwords with our 400 password at the
same
time.

I had a look at the Lotus Domino for AS/400: Single Signon but this work
from Windows to Notes and 400 not from 400 to Windows and Notes.

Can I sync my Lotus Notes password with my 400 sign on using Domino 4.6? If
not does 5.X of Domino for 400 support this?

TIA

Nathan
