OS/400 V4R5, Domino 5.06a, and this is Domino SMTP, not AS/400. How
can I stop the repeated undeliverable mail messages in the mean time?

Thanks,
Donna

Gosh, we had this same situation long ago. I can't get into my incident
archives on my support contract.

Let me guess are you not using native domino mailing but you are using the
400's smtp? I am fairly sure that there is a Notes technote on this.

Please fill in the following:
1) Version of OS/400
2) First cum listed in DSPPTF 5769SS1
3) Version of Domino from SHOW SERVER
4) Are you using native Domino or 400 smtp to send mail? If you are
unable to tell, if you open up Operations Navigator for this 400, expand
Networks, Servers, TCP/IP and what is the status of SMTP?

We are having a problem with the Domino tasks hogging the cpu. It seems
the problem might have started when a message (with a large attachment) was
returned as undeliverable. The error message keeps appearing in the users
inbox, over and over. SMTP is now sucking up most of the cpu. We have
deleted mail.box, but still no luck.

Also, any suggestions on performance adjustments?

D.
