What activity are you referring to?

Yes I do see log entries but they are quicker in time than when I run the
Activity manually.

I have seen an error message in the Notes Log saying that a domino server
does not have authority to the Database that I am trying to update but this
server is in the ACL as manager.

Thanks,

Are you seeing Activity when running it under LEIACT? Are you seeing log
entries? That's a start.

There are several things to be aware of when running LEIACT. Like running
it under QNOTES. The way I do it is that I have a program that never ends.
It reads data from a data queue. And what you send to the data queue are
LEI activities. When an entry appears on the queue, it runs that activity.
When waiting on the data queue, no cpu load at all.

Add an Autostart Job Entry to QBATCH, and have the following objects:
Object Type Library
EXCLEIACT *PGM GDIMAIL
EXCLEIACT *DTAQ GDIMAIL
EXCLEIACT *JOBQ GDIMAIL
EXCLEIACT *JOBD GDIMAIL

Cool thing about this is that our ERP is on another 400. It uses remote
data queues to send data queue entries over to EXCLEIACT. Now you never
have to worry about multiple people trying to fire off several activities
at once. If you bring down Domino you just drop EXCLEIACT first. When you
fire up Domino, then fire up EXCLEIACT, it catches up. Data queues are the
cat's meow.

I also had problems with special characters in activity names. I think
that a dash or hyphen is a bad thing.

I am trying to run a LEI Scripted activity via the LEIACT program on the
AS/400 but it will not run the agent (I look at the log for the activity
and the agent and it takes only a few seconds and I have no results.

When I run the Activity manually from the Admin DB or run the Agent, I see
results.

I think this is an authority issue, but I do not know where.

Thanks,
