Dave,
     You didn't say if you wanted LSXLC or LSXODBC.

This is the sample I recommend to verify the connection if available.

Event Options:
  Option Public
  Uselsx "*lsxodbc"
Sub Initialize
     Dim con As New ODBCConnection
     Dim qry As New ODBCQuery
     Dim res As New ODBCResultSet

     con.autocommit=False
     If (con.connectto("remotesystem","user","password")) Then
          qry.sql ="select * from QIWS/QCUSTCDT"
          Set res.Query = qry
          Res.Execute
          Call Res.FirstRow
          Res.Close(Db_Close)
          Call con.disconnect
     End If

I am trying to write to a DB2 file on the AS/400 using Lotus Script (DB2
LSX classes) but I am having no results.  Does anyone have any examples
that I could look at?
