Actually the LODRUN does update each partition of Domino that you have on
your 400. I don't watch it anymore, but I used to watch it saying 'Now
updating server such-and-such'.
You have to update the clients separately. Granted, the existing clients
will work. So you don't have to run around all at once. There is probably
a redbook out there on upgrading your clients. Anyone have a link?

General discussion on upgrading client based software:
I don't do this all the time so consider the following as a generality and
not a detailed list.
I've heard discussions about setting up scripts so that when someone runs
the install from your network share that it will bypass all the prompts and
be seamless. Knowing that maybe you could make is as painless as
click on this url
and that url pointing to a shared drive in your location which has the
install program.

We are about to upgrade Lotus Domino on our 170 from 5.0.1.02 to 5.0.7. We
received the media and the documentation that comes with it. But, mostly
it
talks about a new install. Where do you find documentation for a upgrade?
Is it as simple as LODRUN and that's it? Surely, there's more to it than
that! How do the Notes clients get updates (do they need to be)? Any help
finding documentation or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
Steve Raisor
