I've never tried it by specifying the ipaddress so i don't know. The <>
should NOT be used.
But given your example i expect that you want the AS/400 HTTP-server
running on the 198-adress.
Then use any of the hostnames specified for that interface, TCPGDISYS,
qgdisys and so on.
But check the cfgtcp option 12 "Change TCP/IP Domain" and verify that the
Host name search priority is *LOCAL.
Then the HTTP-server should check your local hostfile before asking any
DNS.
