I am a new Domino administrator and am running into a problem with my e-mail
implimentation on my AS/400. Please be very explicit with any help provided.
Thanks.

Here's my issue. We have installed domino e-mail with AS/400 anymail
integration as outlined in the IBM Lotus Domino for AS/400 Redbook. We also
have an exchange mail server at <domain>.com that is forwarding all mail for
as400.<domain>.com to our AS/400. When I send an outbound mail from Notes
it goes out with the mail address of
'firstname_lastname/<domain>@as400.<domain>.com'. When I reply to one of
these outbound messages I get a Non-delivery report from Anymail (internet
header at the bottom)

I found that if I send an e-mail to my user account in the form of
'firstname_lastname@as400.<domain>.com' it gets to me fine through Notes.
So I'm stuck with two options, either get Domino/Anymail to accept the
'first_last/<domain>@as400.<domain>.com' for inbound or have the reply
address for the outbound mail be 'first_last@as400.<domain>.com'. I don't
know how to do either of these.

I have looked through Google and what little documentation I have available
to me and am stumped. Any assistance would be appreciated and I can provide
more information about my AS/400 or Domino setup as needed.

Thanks in advance,

Greg Lewis
