If that would work I strongly suspect that it would return QNOTES and not
the Domino user who has the file open.

I strongly recommend doing a DBCACHE FLUSH from the Domino Console prior to
doing anything in a domino directory.  We always run this prior to
deleting/restoring anyone's mail file.

I've posted a question out to NOTES.NET and I am waiting for a response.
