I think in our case we lost about 150 users so it wasn't that bad.

Yeah, that does work too, only that with our NAB we could never use it.
(too many documents and the Notes client can only Copy/Paste about 2500 at
a time) Note: I have also heard that backup software like ADSM/TSM is able
to restore specific documents directly back into the database but I've
never had the chance to see this in action.

We solved the problem with a simple procedure.  We restored the NAB to a
different location and copies and pasted all of the deleted entries
into the LIVE NAB and then replicated.  My counterpart in Germany actually
did this.  I did not know it was that simple.  Anyway, the problem is
solved.

Thanks for all the replies.  It was my first time posting to this group
although I have been reading it a lot and see lots of expertise.
