The ERP system is homegrown.  And actually I was thinking more in lines of
the legacy system causing the event to some sort of function within Domino
(although not to the exclusion of the other direction):

Executing an agent
Document create
Mail sending
Etc.

Mike,

What backend (ERP) system do you use?  Most of the ERP companies have a
Domino Connector on the market.  The Domino Connector is your "path" to the
ERP systems API's for interactive calls from Domino based apps.  However,
you only need to use the Connector if you need to perform calls that
require logic processing from the ERP system, such as Create an Order,
Customer Inquiry, etc.
