my limited experience with this was that the Domino developer and I had a
yawning communication chasm when we tried to do this :)

That said, we did do this and it worked quite OK; unfortunately I don't
remember the function that was used. The biggest issues we faced were:

- Library lists required for commands/programs that needed application
library lists
- Security Issues - separating QNOTES from AS/400 type user profiles
- Returning errors if the command abended

Eventually we created a library for use by the notes app, but never
satisfactorily worked out the return code issue.
