This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] You might want to try the redbooks on this first. Then you might want to search the archives for this list also. I assume that you are using 400 native to send only, and not receive? We use the 400 to send email using SNDDST, SNDEMAIL, etc. We also have 9 Domino partitions set up on that 400. One runs SMTP. Most also run HTTP and, of those that do, they all use port 80. Just bound to a separate IP address. Part of your confusion is that you are still running R4. R5 and the 400 play much nicer together. Try here and see the first redbook listed: http://www.lotus.com/products/r5web.nsf/4EFCED3D866C2C2D852566CC0050FFD5/9F769B4805AD849E8525690C00652AC3?OpenDocument Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." We currently use SNDDST to send emails which sort of means we will have to run the AnyMail/400 SMTP. If I changed the port of the AS/400 SMTP server to something other than 25 and used the Native Domino SMTP would SNDDST still work on the AS/400? And could I run the 2 SMTP servers. If so, would it only be possible to send mail from the AS/400 and not receive it? When setting up Domino is it easy enough to try Native, then try AnyMail SMTP and then put Native SMTP back just to try things? Will it cause problems? Running R5 on V4R5.
