This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] With LEI (Lotus Enterprise Integrator) which is an add-on product for Domino you can do real-time access to external data sources but you need to have documents created in your Domino database with fields which lookup the information from the external source using a 'key'. I think what you are asking for is 'virtual documents' which is one of the new whizzy features of LEI 6 and Domino 6, both of which are still in Beta but available for download. LEI 6 and Domino 6 (with DCR - Domino Connection Records) allow you have a Domino database design with absolutely no documents - views are populated on the fly via real-time access to the external data and no data is stored within the actual Domino database itself. It's really great technology. This URL has a useful explanation of the new features http://www.lotus.com/rw/beta/od536ltn.nsf/5531222f3f43749786256807005fb43c/21f348892faaa9fc85256b1a00629acc?OpenDocument Hope that helps.
