Steve,

We tried an approach like this, but it failed because the users always
forgot to do it. We also tried using this approach to distributing files
to remote users, but the files were too big to replicate over dial-up.

More savvy users zip their files and e-mail them to themselves (mail files
are backed up on a regular basis). Less savvy users lose all their stuff
when they have hardware problems.

We currently map network drives for our users to save their documents such
as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint, etc. This allows us to back up these
documents nightly. This works great for our users that do not travel. The
traveling users need access to their documents when on the road.

Our thought is to create a notes database and store their individual
documents in this database & then they can replicate them to Domino. I
found a template called Microsoft Office Library. Has anyone used this
template to try and do what we want? Any other template that satisfy this
requirement?

Thanks in advance

Steve Jones
