Using Inbound Relay Controls didn't do much; still got lots of junk in the mail.box files. Ended up moving our primary SMTP partition off of our 840 limited to Domino R5 to our 270 running 6.0.1CF1. And then we used the R6 function of Inbound Intended Recipients Controls Verify that local domain recipients exist in the Domino Directory: This made a world of difference.
